Nava Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. is one of India’s fastest-growing pharmaceutical companies in the generic medicines segment. It relies on specialized teams in marketing, sales, research and development, quality control, manufacturing, market research, supply chain, and distribution, and works with WHO-certified manufacturers.
The problem
Before Grandstream, Nava Healthcare used D-Link routers and TP-Link’s Deco Wi-Fi solution in its offices. Coverage was insufficient, the number of simultaneous users was limited, and there was no centralized controller to simplify device management. The connection became unstable and employee productivity declined. The company was also looking for a supplier capable of modernizing its IP telephony system, which its existing brands could not offer.
The need
IoT device support: monitoring equipment, temperature controls, and automated processes in the pharmaceutical industry required a network capable of handling a variety of devices.
Wireless IP phones: Nava wanted to replace its wired telephony and give employees true mobility with the WP820 and GRP2602W.
Device overload: the old network could not support more than a hundred simultaneous users, resulting in disconnections.
Remote access and monitoring: research sites spread across multiple locations required centralized management.
Performance and scalability: research and production generate large amounts of data and require greater throughput and simultaneous capacity.
Reliable connectivity: the various services, laboratories and production areas needed consistent coverage.
The old network provided only 200 Mbit/s, which was insufficient for data-intensive tasks. Nava therefore wanted a stable connection for employees and customers.
Why Grandstream
Nava Healthcare deployed a complete network and UC solution: GWN7664 Wi-Fi 6 access points, GWN7624 in-wall access points, GWN7664LR long-range outdoor access points, WP820 Wi-Fi phones, UCM6304 IP PBX, GRP2602W phones and GHP621 hotel phones. A total of 80 access points were installed.

Wi-Fi signal and stability: the throughput of the GWN7624, GWN7664 and GWN7664LR enables employees to reliably connect IoT devices, computers, mobile devices and IP phones.
Range: the GWN7624 covers rooms and offices, the GWN7664 covers hallways, meeting rooms and common areas, and the GWN7664LR covers outdoor areas up to the parking lot and entrances.
High number of simultaneous users: Grandstream access points exceed the old network’s limit and allow employees and visitors to stay connected when the site is busy.
Captive portal: Nava can create a guest SSID with voucher authentication and a customized home page, isolated from the employee network.
Cost-effectiveness: Grandstream provides a wide range of network and UC solutions with professional-grade features at a controlled cost.
Network management: GDMS Networking is free, with no controller license to renew, and centralizes configuration and monitoring.
All-in-one solution: one provider covers access points, networking, IP PBX and phones, simplifying deployment and support.
Other vendors considered
Nava Healthcare also evaluated Unifi and Cambium. The company chose Grandstream for its cost, free centralized management, modern features and ability to provide a network and UC solution from a single provider.
The result
The GWN7624 units were installed in rooms, the GWN7664 units in hallways, meeting rooms and common areas, and the GWN7664LR units outdoors. Coverage is now stronger and more stable, calls are no longer interrupted, and employees can move around while remaining reachable on their WP820.
Nava also modernized its telephony with the GRP2602W, GHP621 and UCM6304. Teams can communicate and report to their management from anywhere on the site.
